American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) - The ACLU Sacramento County chapter works to protect and advance civil liberties and civil rights in Sacramento County.  Meets monthly through video conference.

GENUp – California based nationwide organization dedicated to transforming education policy by amplifying youth voices; and empowering students to drive meaningful reform at every level, from local school boards to state legislatures, ensuring that the next generation shapes its own future.

Indivisible – goal is to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the US and to demand a real democracy. 

Leaders We Deserve - a grassroots organization dedicated to electing young progressives to Congress and State Legislatures across the country to help defeat the far-right agenda and advance a progressive vision for the future.

Legal Services of Northern California – recruits volunteers and pro bono attorneys to help provide free civil legal assistance to low-income residents, focusing on housing, health, public benefits, and civil rights. 

League of Women Voters Sacramento – a nonpartisan pollical organization that encourages informed and active volunteer participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy, serving the cities of Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Galt Isleton, Rancho Cordova, and Sacramento.

National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – purpose is to advocate, innovate and orchestrate positive changes that benefit Black women and girls.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) – the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the US, founded to combat racial discrimination, secure voting rights, and achieve equal justice for Black Americans. 

National Organization for Women (NOW) – takes action through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, And economic life.

National Women’s History Alliance – works to make women’s voices visible in classrooms, boardrooms, voting booths, and community spaces emphasizing the importance of recognizing women as leaders and influencers.

National Women’s Political Caucus Sacramento – mission is to increase women’s participation in the political process by identifying, recruit, train and support pro-choice, self-identified women for election and appointment to public office at every level of government.

NextGen America – A nationwide organization working to educate and empower young people to organize, vote, and lead.

NorCal Resist – a grassroots, volunteer-run mutual aid and immigration-justice organization based in Northern California, dedicated to building community resilience and resisting oppression, particularly against immigrants, refugees, and undocumented people.

Placer County Women Democrats – mission is to elect progressive female candidates to office and to educate all voters oh local, state and national issues; and to identify and support the election of qualified women Democrat candidates.
Planned Parenthood Mar Monte – provides reproductive and sexual healthcare, as well as sexual education.

Soroptimist International – a global women’s organization whose members volunteer to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.

States Win (formerly Sister District) – goal is to elect Democrats to state legislatures by focusing on building resources and volunteers from solidly blue areas into competitive, flippable districts.

Swing Left – a progressive political organization focused on mobilizing grassroots volunteers to help Democrats win key elections in swing districts.
